Well, here we are once again, devouring yet
more of this igxe
couponongoing pie. Learning from the
lessons in my last post i’m going to open up with my class levels right now.
Once again, in descending order:
MRD41, MIN31, BSM19, PUG19, GLA15, CRP13
Wow. As you can see, between now and my
last post, buy ffxiv
gilmy Marauder has leveled up quite
significantly, as has my Miner. My Blacksmith has also been leveled a little
more but I found that as tedious as I did at first, so I likely won’t be
unveiling much content about that.
I think I’ll begin with the easier part
first, my Miner. igxe
couponMining is a bloody grind. An epic
grind. Luckily, I’m a patient bastard who can just put myself on auto-pilot and
realise I’ve spent 2 hours gathering stuff. The other thing that allows me to
continue the grind is the knowledge that it’s making me plenty of pocket money.
*As of this point onwards, worldpress ate
my blog post, so it’ll now be a condensed version.*
My
mining grind pretty much picked up where it left off, spamming iron ore outside
of copperbell mines. I did this right up until around level 21 until I decided
to move on to elemental ores. This decision was in no small part aided by
people crashing the iron market (asshats >.<).

The switch to these elemental rocks was
horrific. I found that, even though they were obviously higher level items and
therefore giving more xp per strike, the fact that the success rate was so much
lower than iron ore led to me gaining much less xp overall, due to lack of
chaining. It was at this point that I concluded that when gathering for xp you
shouldn’t necessarily be going after the highest level nodes.
After grinding out to level 26 I then
discovered that I could begin mining for crystals, this made me a very happy
chappy as crystals sell for big bucks. Careful monitoring of the market can
mean that you are earning upwards of 250 gil per crystal. I was more than happy
to work towards 30 gathering and selling various types of crystals. Once 30 was
attained I accepted my level 30 quest and set out for Camp Drybone
